   SecretAlarm.com allows you to monitor and control your security system from anywhere through the web or from your PDA: change the status of your system, turn on lights, set up user access codes and more. 2.  What's the difference between SecretAlarm.com security systems and traditional security systems?

5.  I'm going on vacation. How does SecretAlarm.com help me?
   SecretAlarm.com is perfect for keeping track of your home when you go on vacation. If you're going away, you can create lighting schedules to make it look like someone's home. You can create a temporary alarm code so a neighbor can get in to feed your cat and water your plants while you're gone. If you want, SecretAlarm.com can send you a text-message or e-mail when someone enters your home ("Your system was disarmed by The Neighbors at 4:05 PM") and when certain areas of your home are accessed ("The Cat Food Cabinet was opened at 4:07 PM."). If you don't want to be disturbed on vacation, you can just check the event log on the SecretAlarm.com website when you get back and see everything that happened while you were gone.

Many intruders have figured out how to cut the phone line outside the house in order to disable an alarm system. 
   
   SecretAlarm.com security systems have a dedicated wireless connection to My-Alarm.com's Network Operations Center. Alarms and other signals are transmitted wirelessly in real time from the customer's security control panel through this connection. Even if the customer's phone line is cut, all alarm signals will be able to reach My-Alarm.com's Network Operations Center and can be routed immediately to the central monitoring station for emergency response.
